GCSE art students visit the city

On the 11th March a group of over 70 year 11 students braved the cold to visit the Sky Gardens and the Tate Modern as part of their preparation for their art exam: Fragments. After taking in the stunning views from the Sky Garden, they walked to the Tate Modern to observe more of the urban landscape and take in two exhibitions from the Living Cities and the Materials and Objects displays. Both were very conceptual but it was a thought provoking process that engaged and prompted many discussions with students who should be congratulated on their exemplary behaviour.
