Exploring racism through local history

Recently an organisation called Create and Debate visited the school to work with our students as part of our ongoing work to address racism in our school and local community.  They came into school to work with two year 7 forms.  The workshop allowed our students to deepen their understanding of local historical event related to race discrimination whilst supporting them to develop their own narrative from what they had explored.  Below are some of the examples of the work the students created.
